Rochedale Church

Located about 25 minutes from Brisbane City, our Rochedale Campus offers a wide range of rooms and facilities ideal for private functions, conferences, educational classes, weddings and funerals. With an auditorium seating 250, a large hall and numerous smaller meeting rooms, the facilities can flexibly be adapted to suit your needs.

Available for both one off or ongoing bookings, our office staff can assist you in finding the perfect fit for your purposes, whether it’s for 5 people or 300. Our auditorium, hall and meeting rooms can be hired individually or as a package.

Auditorium 

Our main auditorium seats over 250 theatre style. Hirers are free to rearrange the room as required. It is well equipped with sound, projector, AV and lighting systems.

The auditorium includes:

  • Sound, AV and lighting systems run from a sound booth (a Sound Coordinator can be provided for a small fee upon request)
  • Projector system with pull down screen behind stage
  • Reverse-cycle air conditioning
  • Baby grand piano
  • Individual cushioned chairs – can be rearranged as hirer desires
  • Raised stage with rearrangeable layout to meet hirer’s needs
  • Full windows down two sides of auditorium to provide ample day time lighting
  • Private mother’s room with one-way mirror window to allow mothers with nursing or young children privacy

Sound & AV Equipment

Our sound booth provides easy coordination of all sound, media and lighting needs from an inconspicuous location.

Hall

Our church hall is a flexible space that can be set up by the hirer theatre or banquet style. It is ideal for workshops or educational classes needing an open space. Chairs and fold up tables are available for use upon request.

The Hall includes:

  • Basic sound,  AV and lighting system run by a sound booth (a Sound Coordinator can be provided for a small fee upon request)
  • Large LCD Screen TV
  • Reverse-cycle air conditioning
  • Small raised stage
  • Natural lighting with view to playground and trees
  • Easy access to kitchen area
  • Access to chairs and tables so room can be set up as required

Kitchen Facilities

Hire of the auditorium or hall includes full access to kitchen facilities. This allows access to a refrigerator, oven, stoves, microwave, pie warmer, slow cookers and pots. Cutlery, crockery, serving trays, utensils and table clothes are also available upon request.

Foyer

Use of our welcoming foyer is included in the hire of either the auditorium or hall, as well entire church hire. This space includes 4 comfortable couches that can easily be rearranged to suit your needs.

Parking 

Parking facilities are available free of charge on premises. Designated disabled parking is located next to the church building.

Outdoor Area

Our outdoor picnic area provides the perfect relaxation or break out area for conference breaks or mingling after weddings and funerals.
